I wanted to express the urgency of those enduring the mistreatment by the Colombian government in resisting disproportionately agressive military and public forces who benefit in keeping the social hierarchy as it is. Those that have risked and keep on risking their lifes since the protests that started the 28th of April and have kept on going resulting in 2387 cases of police brutality, 43 homicides, 18 victims of sexual assault, over 350 disappearances and 1139 arbitrary arrests amongst others as of the 18th of May 2021.
